Delete your account
You can delete your MapPal account and everything in it at any time. No retention period, no “are you sure you want to miss out” dark patterns. Here's exactly how, and exactly what goes.
If you can still sign in
- 1Open MapPal and sign in.
- 2Go to Your profile (the avatar, bottom of the page).
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- 4Type your email to confirm, then Delete forever.
Deletion is immediate. You'll be signed out as soon as it finishes.

Email michalseneca@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm when it's done.
Sending from the signup address is how we verify it's you. If you no longer control that inbox, say so in the email and we'll work out another way to confirm.
What gets deleted
Your profile
Name, photo, bio, languages, travel style, budget, gender
Your trips
Every trip you published, and the activities you hosted
Your messages
All chat threads you were part of, and their full history
Your connections
Waves sent and received, friendships, join requests
Your meetings
Meeting records and verified-meet history
Your settings
Notification preferences, destination subscriptions, saved cities
Your devices
Push notification tokens for every device you signed in on
What stays, and why
Group activities hosted by other people. If you'd joined someone else's plan, you're removed from the attendee list, but their activity stays up. Deleting your account shouldn't cancel a stranger's trip.
Other travelers' verified-meet counts. If you and someone else both confirmed you met, that meet really happened and stays on their record as a number. It carries no information about you — no name, no photo, no link back.
